SCOPE

This Privacy Policy explains how Denpa Ltd. (Business Registration No. 56609323, "we," "us," or "our") collects, processes, and uses your personal data in connection with the services provided through the https://network.denpa.io/ website (the "Site"). This Policy forms part of our Terms of Use.

This Policy does not apply to third-party websites or services outside the Site, even where you reached them through a link on the Site.

This Policy is made in Traditional Chinese (Taiwan), which is the authoritative version. Any version in another language is a translation of the Traditional Chinese version, provided for convenience only. In the event of any discrepancy or conflict between versions, the Traditional Chinese version prevails.

THE COMPANY COLLECTING YOUR DATA

  • Name: Denpa Ltd. (電波有限公司)
  • Business Registration No.: 56609323
  • Registered address: Magong, Penghu, Taiwan
  • Contact: admin@denpa.io

PURPOSES OF COLLECTION

We collect your personal data solely for the following purposes:

  1. Providing and operating the network protection service, including creating and managing lines and assigning player connection addresses.
  2. Billing and account management, including traffic purchases, settlement, and remaining-traffic enquiries.
  3. Authentication and account security, including registration, sign-in, sending sign-in verification codes, and abuse prevention.
  4. Customer support and troubleshooting, including answering your enquiries and handling service faults.
  5. Issuing and voiding electronic invoices as required by law, and filing the invoice data.

We do not use your personal data for marketing, advertising, or commercial messages, and we do not sell or rent it to third parties.

CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED

The categories we collect depend on the features you use, and comprise:

  • Account data: email address, the language of the emails we send you, and hashes of the sign-in verification code and sign-in link (stored as one-way hashes, which we cannot reverse into plaintext, and which expire after fifteen minutes).
  • Connection records: IP address, browser user-agent string, and access times.
  • Service configuration data: the origin server address you provide.
  • Transaction data: traffic purchase amount, currency, transaction time, payment status, and the transaction records returned by the payment processor.
  • Invoice data: the buyer name; the carrier number or the donation code, depending on how you choose to receive the invoice, or, for a company invoice, the Unified Business Number and the company name; and the email address the e-invoice value-added service platform uses to send you notice that the invoice has been issued (that is, your account’s email address).
  • Usage data: statistics on the traffic we protect on your behalf.

PERIOD, REGION, RECIPIENTS, AND MEANS OF USE

Period: until the specific purpose of collection ceases to exist or your account is deleted. A shorter period applies to the verification records behind verification codes and sign-in links: we delete each such record within two hours of its expiry at the latest, including where you never completed sign-up and no account was created for you. Where the law provides otherwise — such as the retention period for accounting vouchers under Article 38 of the Business Entity Accounting Act — that provision applies.

Region: our servers and our processors are located both inside and outside Taiwan. By using the Site you agree that your personal data may be transferred outside Taiwan and processed there.

Recipients: ourselves, and the following categories of processor, to the extent necessary to provide the service:

Category Current providers Location
Cloud hosting and networking Google Cloud, Vultr, OVH Outside Taiwan
Payments NewebPay Taiwan
Electronic invoicing ezPay (簡單行動支付股份有限公司) Taiwan
Error tracking Rollbar Outside Taiwan
Bot verification Google reCAPTCHA Outside Taiwan

In addition, the data on the electronic invoices we issue — the buyer name, and the carrier number or donation code you choose, or a company invoice's Unified Business Number and company name — is filed daily by the ezPay electronic invoicing platform with the Ministry of Finance's E-Invoice Platform.

The providers listed above are the current ones, given by way of example. We may change processors under the same purposes and protection standards, updating this Policy accordingly. Apart from the above, and from disclosures required by law or lawfully demanded by a competent authority or court, we do not provide your personal data to third parties.

Means: we collect, process, store, and transmit your personal data by automated and non-automated means, and use it within what the purposes above require.

DATA SECURITY

We protect your personal data by the following measures: the entire Site is served over HTTPS; sign-in verification codes and sign-in links are stored as one-way hashes and never in plaintext, and expire after fifteen minutes; payment is completed on the payment processor’s own systems, and we neither access nor store your full card number or security code. The transaction record the processor returns — which may include fields such as a masked card number — is retained under the Transaction data category above.

Transmission and storage over the internet cannot be guaranteed absolutely secure, and we are unable to warrant it as such.

YOUR RIGHTS AND HOW TO EXERCISE THEM

Under Article 3 of the Personal Data Protection Act, you hold the following rights over the personal data we keep about you, and those rights may not be waived in advance or limited by agreement:

  1. To enquire about or request a review of the data.
  2. To request a copy of the data.
  3. To request that the data be supplemented or corrected.
  4. To request that collection, processing, or use cease.
  5. To request deletion.

How to exercise them: email admin@denpa.io, and we will act once we have verified your identity. Under Article 13 of the Personal Data Protection Act we decide on requests to enquire, review, or obtain a copy within 15 days, extendable by a further 15 days; and on requests to supplement, correct, cease collection, processing, or use, or delete within 30 days, extendable by a further 30 days. Where we extend, we will notify you of the reason in writing. Under Article 14 we may charge the necessary cost of enquiry, review, or producing a copy.

Limit on account deletion: where your wallet still holds unused remaining traffic or an unsettled account, that must be settled before we can delete your account. This is necessary for the conduct of our business (settling the account), under the proviso to Article 11, Paragraph 3 of the Personal Data Protection Act. Please contact us for how to settle.

EFFECT OF NOT PROVIDING PERSONAL DATA

You are free to choose whether to provide personal data. However, if you do not provide the personal data necessary for us to deliver the service — such as the email address required to register, the origin server address required for protection, or the transaction data required to buy traffic — we will be unable to provide the corresponding service or feature.

USE OF COOKIES

The Site uses browser cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language preference, both of which are necessary for the Site to work. You may refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings, though doing so may prevent sign-in or stop some features working correctly.

The Site sets no third-party cookies for advertising purposes. The bot verification service (Google reCAPTCHA) may, however, set its own cookies in your browser to distinguish human users from automated programs.

AMENDMENTS TO THIS POLICY

We may amend this Policy in response to changes in the law, technical adjustments, or changes to the service, and will announce any amendment by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. An amended Policy takes effect on the date it is published. Please check this Policy when you use the Site so that you are aware of its current content.
